Confirm a Rio Grande Release
Start with the custody event, then match it to the court event. A same-day release after advisement may be tied to a bond setting. A release after plea or sentencing may be tied to time served, probation, or a mittimus. A person transferred to CDOC is no longer a county-jail custody case, but the local court file can still show the sentence that caused the transfer.

Probation is a court sentence or supervision status, not jail custody and not state parole. If the Rio Grande Combined Court record shows probation, verify reporting details through Rio Grande County Courthouse Probation. If it shows prison, use CDOC offender search.
